Excellent from Start to finish. I approached Forrester as wanted so guidance on a new Dishwasher. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in aiding me in my search and narrowing down the best model for my needs. Price very competitive and although i may have been able to get about £50.00 discount elsewhere the fact they could supply and fit within days made up my mind to purchase as other sources were quoting 3 to 4 weeks for same model Engineer arrived today to fit and was very professional and ensured the new dishwasher was fully fitted to my satisfaction even trimming the Plinth to ensure the door did not catch Removed all packaging and the old appliance which saved me a trip to the Tip All in all excellent service throughout and a very happy customer ~ Paul C

Very impressed with this company. Rang the previous week regarding fault with dishwasher. Appointment booked for the following week. Very reasonable call-out fee. Given a time window for appointment. Paul rang few minutes before he arrived to say he was on his way. Knew straightaway what the problem was and changed the pump which had been damaged by a piece of glass getting through the filter. Only took him about half an hour to get machine working again. Husband very happy he is now off hand-washing duty. Very knowledgeable about household appliances and gave me some free advice about my leaky washing machine. We’ve known about this company for years but never needed to call them. Would highly recommend Forresters and won’t hesitate to use them again. Paul was very nice and friendly. ~ Christine R

The first oven repair business I called didn’t have the expertise to repair my Range Dual Fuel and recommended contacting Range directly. Range use Jason’s services via Repairtech and he was able to come out the next week at a time that suited us. Unfortunately repair tech hadn’t sent him the part we’d paid for and coded the visit as an inspection instead of repair. He handled this in his stride, went out of his way to try and source the part himself that day, and was able to find a solution to the fault during the visit. He also took the time to go through safety features of our oven as we have young toddlers and improved the door seal whilst he was here. Thanks for all your help Jason, we’ll definitely use your services again and recommend you to family, friends and colleagues 10/10! ~ james c

Great service; ordered a new washing machine over the phone on Monday 24th November. Thery could have installed it on Friday 28th but Monday 1st December worked better for me. The installer (David) arrived before 10am, finished removing the old machine, installing the new one and taking the old one away, within an hour. He even did a little adjustment to the plinth to ensure a perfect fit. The price was good, the service prompt, and David was tidy, friendly and respctful of my home. Everything I look for in a retailer. Take a bow, Forresters. Since then, Forrester have supplied and fitted a new oven and hob. Again the service was first rate, so much so that we've already arranged another job ands have a fourth planned for them ~ Jeff P

I am writing this review on behalf of my elderly neighbours Mr and Mrs Wardle who have recently used the services of FORRESTERS and have asked me to post a very positive review on their experience. They found the service offered to be excellent from start to finish. They had tried initially to get their gas provider to repair their cooker hob and were offered a date in May as the earliest available slot!! In comparison FORRESTERS were able to offer a next day appointment and the work was done efficiently and some additional repairs done. The charges were more than acceptable to my neighbours who have said that they would certainly use Foresters again! Well done FORRESTERS for providing an excellent service! ~ Susan B

Our oven stopped heating suddenly so phoned saying thought the element had burnt out as everything else was working and could they fix it. Gave details of the make and model and got an approximate quote and made an appointment. The engineers arrived as expected and agreed it was the element. A new one was fitted with no problem and tested to make sure it was working. The charge was around the same as phone quotation. Both the original call contact and the engineers who came were polite and efficient and respectful of the current health restrictions. We were very impressed with all our dealings with this company and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them. ~ Brian D

Our integrated freezer broke down on a Friday afternoon, we found Forresters online and with them being local gave them a ring. The girl on the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable. As the freezer was 11 years old we decided to buy a new one instead of getting it repaired. The new one arrived on the Wednesday morning within the time quoted. The two lads just cracked on and fitted the new freezer, having to make minor adjustments. They explained everything to us when they were finished and left the kitchen as good as new. Forresters will definitely be our first port of call when our other appliances give up the ghost. Thank you to everyone for your help ~ Caroline

I wasn’t familiar with this company but I’m incredibly happy that I found it. I had occasion to buy a new automatic washer. I’m elderly and disabled so I didn’t want something with wifi, bells and/or whistles. The ladies at reception couldn’t have been more helpful before we settled on what I wanted. Bill paid. Delivery a couple of days later. David the engineer removed the old one for disposal and fitted my new one. He was prompt, efficient, tidy, amiable and helpful. He was more than happy to detail the workings of my new machine. From being a little trepidatious to being incredibly happy. Thank you Forresters (and David). I specifically wanted to Shop Locally to support the economy and jobs where I live instead of ordering online or going to an out of town place. Forresters Appliances of Cramlington was recommended to me by a family member who recently bought a couple of appliances from them. The service was good and any questions I had were dealt with no problem. The staff were polite, welcoming and knowledgeable about the products they sell. They do have a website (and online shopping too I think) however, they have way more in the real life shop so I would recommend you visit the showroom. Support local businesses and buy British if you can! All in all it’s 10 out of 10 from me! ~ Ben M

First class service. I highly recommend this company for any repairs to your appliances. I rang at the start of the new year 2023, spoke to Leanne who was very helpful. Sent a pic of the repair that needed to be done, the part was ordered in on the Wednesday and it was fitted on the Friday of that very same week. Very reasonably priced too. The repair guy Jason was very efficient in fitting the part and was very friendly. What a lovely company to deal with. I also believe that they sell appliances in there store, so will be taking a look when upgrades are required. ~ Jacqueline B

My built in oven broke down 7 days before Xmas. I was given Forresters number by a friend. Emma took all details of my current oven and one hour later phoned me with 3 ovens which were compatible with my original. I chose the Beko model. Today, 2 days before Xmas, my new Beko oven was fitted by Paul within 30 minutes of him arriving. Paul also gave me advice on my electric vacuum cleaner which he didn’t have to do but for which I was very grateful. From first contact with Forresters to installation was effortless & the service was first class - hence 5 Stars. Thank you Forresters. ~ marilyn G

I had an issue with my old integrated dishwasher and gave them a call to discuss it. They were really helpful over the phone—rather than just sending someone out and charging a call-out fee, they talked me through the likely problem based on my description (a heating element issue). After checking the potential cost and considering we didn’t know the age of the appliance, it made more sense to replace it. I spoke to Paul, who was really knowledgeable and helpful throughout. I later popped into the shop to discuss options and costs in more detail. They provided a link to their dishwasher range and clearly explained the charges for fitting and removing the old appliance. Leanne helped book everything in and was also great to deal with. The engineer arrived on time, was very quick, professional, and did a fantastic job with the installation. Everything went smoothly. Overall, excellent service—friendly, professional, and straightforward. Would definitely recommend! ~ Sarah M

We had booked Forrester's of Cramlington to replace our old electric hob with a brand new Blomberg 4 ring gas hob. Paul the engineer kept us updated of his arrival time. Once Paul arrived he set about the job in hand old electric hob out new gas hob in ...but not before meticulous safety checks were done. Once Paul had installed our new gas hob he then demonstrated how to use the new hob. Paul is a credit to Forresters we would throughly recommend Forresters, for quality and definitely safety. Paul even took our old appliance away can't ask better than that. Thank you and well done. ~ Paul B

Our vacuum cleaner had broken down and after my wife discussed on-line with them - we decided to take vacuum to be checked out - dropped it off on Monday and was told that the guy that would look at it would not be in until Wednesday (No problem - left it with them after paying an inspection deposit - that would be taken from final bill) - had a text from them on the Wednesday afternoon telling me vacuum had been repaired - collected it that afternoon and paid of the remainder of the bill. Very good service and a pleasure to deal with - will use again if needed. ~ Mark T

Great Service! I had an issue with my Samsung washing machine so called Forresters. Their call-out charge was significantly less than what I was going to pay via Samsung direct. Their engineer arrived on time and I was notified by their SMS text service ahead of time. I ended up needing a new washer, so bought this from Forresters. Their prices matched those of other larger suppliers, such as Curry's. Again, their engineer arrived on time to deliver and install the new washer and take the old broken one away. I will continue to use these guys in the future, highly recommended!!! ~ Sanders F

We are SO Pleased that we found out about Forresters (thanks to Checkatrade)! Firms that will come out and repair old gas appliances are rare as hen's teeth. Forresters were efficient to communicate with -- they read their email, reply, and answer the phone! They make appointments, and their staff keep them! You get a text message when the guy is on his way, rather than just a vague "Thursday morning." Their engineer who visited us (Jason) was very pleasant, wore an FFP2 or 3 mask, took his boots off in the hall without being asked to, explored the faults we brought to his attention, explained why our appliances weren't working properly, and fixed them to the best of his ability (cooker & hob 30+ years old, parts probably unobtainable). Reasonable charges, and we can now look to cooking Christmas and other dinners with reasonable confidence. Thanks, Jason (and Forresters)! We have a small cafe in Morpeth, no matter the problem we use this company. They are so friendly, the workmen always keep you informed of whats happening with your repair, the prices they charge are always very reasonable. We personally cant see past them' and I would strongly recommend them, you wont be sorry, Jason came out on his day off to fix our grill at 7.00 am, what other company would give you service like that? As far as we are concerened they are the best' would give 6 stars if it was possible. ~ 4444brado

I used forresters to replace the electronic ignition on our cannon cooker which has not worked well from the day we bought the cooker. The engineer called to look at the cooker, took photos and told us we need two parts. The parts were here within a day or two and the engineer arrived a day or two later to fit them. The cooker is now working fine. I would recommend forresters to anyone. There is a call out charge however this charge is then deducted from any parts and labour you need to pay for. ~ Avril M

I bought a washer back in 2021, and the customer service was fantastic. Unfortunately, my washer is now making unhealthy noises. I contacted Bloomberg, and they needed an exact date of purchase, which I didn't have. I normally keep all my documents, but this must have slipped the net. I spoke with Amy to see if there was anything they could do to help, and within minutes, she had sent the invoice over from 2021. Amazing service then and now. Fabulous service from Forresters in Cramlington. Ross was most helpful in finding me a replacement integrated fridge freezer and fitting it quickly and efficiently a few days later. My oven had also stopped working and I thought I would need to replace it but Ross advised he thought it could be fixed and sure enough he fixed it on Monday at the same time as he fitted my new fridge freezer. All done and dusted within a couple of hours. Honest, friendly and professional service. Would highly recommend. ~ Nicky O

Great service! My tumble dryer broke, and someone recommended Forresters. They sent an engineer out within two days which was great and at a more reasonable call out charge than others I had looked at. The dryer couldn't be fixed economically and so we ended up buying a new dryer off them which we then picked up same day! A lot quicker than I would have managed anywhere else, and with the call out charge reduced because we bought a new machine. Overall, very happy with the service and the cost. ~ Carolyn W

Would happily recommend. Our dishwasher broke a few months ago, the engineer explained the fault and the different options we could take and the pros and cons of each. We decided to get a new dishwasher in the end, the lady I spoke to on the phone was really helpful when I realised I had ordered the wrong one it was sorted so quickly. The engineer who came to fit it (Ross) was so helpful he did a great job even with my awkward kitchen units which made it hard to fit in. ~ Beth H

A new dual-fuel cooker and a cooker hood were installed yesterday. The company have been very helpful in arranging for the work. The two men sent a text 15 minutes before arrival, within the general time slot I had been offered. They completed the installation within the hour and demonstrated the general details of operation, as well as clearing away the old appliances. After struggling to get anyone to come and look at our oven after describing the problem to them I contacted Forrester's after a recommendation from a friend and I have to say that I have been nothing but impressed with the service supplied , especially David the engineer who was really helpful and overcame some problems when installing our new oven without any complaining, just did a professional job.
